Salisbury Steak

One of my favorite meals that my mom would fix growing up.

Salisbury Steak

Round Steak or Cube Steak
1 onion sliced
1 c. flour
3 c. water
3 cubes of Beef Bouillon
1 can of cream of mushroom soup
1 c. sour cream
2 Tbls. Kitchen Bouquet (find in BBQ Sauce aisle)

Cut meat into serving size pieces. Then tenderize meat by pounding with mallet.  Then heat oil in skillet. Dip meat into flour and put in skillet top with onions. Brown on both sides for a few minutes.  Then put into a roaster pan.  Then in separate pan add water, beef bouillon, cream of mushroom soup and sour cream, and kitchen bouquet and mix.  Bring to boil.  Then pour sauce over meat in roaster pan.

Cover roaster pan and cook in oven at 315 degrees for 3 hours. Serve meat and then pour gravy over mash potatoes.
