Mom's Al Gratin Potatoes

Growing up my mom would always make these potatoes to go with her yummy meat loaf.

Mom's Al Gratin Potatoes

4 potatoes
1 Tbls. dried onions
1 c. grated cheddar cheese

White sauce
1/4 c. butter
3 Tbls. flour
2 c. milk
salt and pepper

Boil potatoes in water until almost tender.  Take out of water and let cool. Then peel the potatoes and cut up into chunks.  Put in a glass casserole dish.  Then sprinkle with dried onions and 1/2 c. cheese.  Then pour white sauce over the top.  Top with the rest of the cheese. Cover and bake 350 degrees for  30 mins or until bubbly.
