Meat Loaf

I once again tried this new recipe for meat loaf and I really liked it. It has a sweet taste to it.

Meat Loaf

The Loaf:
1 lb of ground beef
1 onion chopped
1 sleeve of saltine crackers, crushed into tiny pieces
2 eggs
salt and pepper
2 T. honey mustard
1/4 c. ketchup
1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce

Sauce
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. ketchup

In a large bowl combine all the loaf ingredients from above into a bowl and mix well together. Then form meat into a loaf shape. If you feel like it makes to big of a loaf, split the meat in half and form two loaf shape instead of one.

In a 9x9 pan put the brown sugar on the bottom. Then put the form meat on top of brown sugar. Then around the edges put the ketchup. Cover and put in oven. Bake at 375 for 40 minutes.

Remove the pan from the oven. Take off cover and take the sauce from the bottom and drizzle on top of the meat. Then put back in oven and cook for about 5 more minutes. Then after it gets done cooking take out of oven again and let it set for 5 more minutes. Then it is ready to serve.
