Beef Stroganoff

I have a few different Stroganoff recipe that I have tried and put on here. This one is good. I didn't like as much as the other ones. But everyone has their own tastes so give it a try.

Beef Stroganoff
3 Tbls. butter
1 pound beef stew meat
salt and pepper
1 8 oz package of mushrooms
2 c. beef broth
1 10.5 oz cans of cream of mushroom soup
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/4 c. milk
2 Tbls. cornstarch
4 oz cream cheese

In a large skillet melt 1 Tbls. butter over meduim heat. Add your beef stew meat and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Cook meat until all the way cook through and not pink in the middle. Then take out of pan and set aside. Then melt 2 Tbls. butter in your pan. Add mushrooms and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Cook them until they are nice and brown. Then throw the meat back in the pan with the mushrooms

In a medium size bowl combine beef broth, mushroom soup, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix together and then pour over top of beef and mushrooms. Let the mixture come to a boil, stirring occasionally.

Place cream cheese in a small bowl and put in microwave to make the cream cheese soft enough that you can stir it around easily.

In a small bowl combine milk and cornstarch. Stir together really good and make sure there is no lumps.

Then pour the milk/cornstarch mix in the pan over the beef and sauce mix. Stir it all around to incorporate. Let the stroganoff return to a boil. It will thicken as the temperature rises. Once it becomes thick then add your soften cream cheese. Stir to incorporate. Cook until heated through.

Serve over egg noddles.
