Homemade Chicken Noodle Soup

This is my husband favorite meal. I think I say that all the time. But I truly think it is his favorite.

Homemade Chicken Noodle Soup

Noodles
3 eggs
1/2 cup milk
1 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. salt
2 cups flour

Mix the first 4 ingredients then add flour. I am guessing on the flour part. Add enough so you can handle it and doesn't stick to your fingers. Roll out and cut into strips and then let them dry out for a few hours.

Soup Part
3 -4 carrots
3 -4 stock of celery
1/2 onion chopped
1 cube of butter

Saute for 10 minutes all these ingredients in a frying pan then set aside.

4 chicken bouillon
2 can of cream of chicken soup
1 lb. chicken cooked and cut up (I usually boil the chicken while I am making the noodles.)
3 or 4 Tbls. Nature Seasoning

In a big pot fill 1/2 full of water and add 4 chicken bouillon bring to boil. Add 2 can of cream of chicken soup. Then bring to a boil again and add cooked chicken and ingredients from frying pan (carrots, celery etc.) Then add 3 or 4 Tbl. of Nature seasoning. Then once boiling again add the noodles that you made earlier. Boil for 10 minutes. And then it is ready to eat

(Instead of using the homemade noodle you can go for an easier version and use frozen egg noodles or dry egg noodles. Just make sure they get cooked enough)

  1. I'm making this right now. The noodles weren't too hard (I've never made my own), hopefully it turns out great.
