Chicken Cordon Bleu



Chicken Cordon Bleu
6 boneless chicken breasts
6 thin slices of ham
6 slices of swiss cheese
1/4 tsp. thyme
1/4 c. melted butter
1/2 c. cornflakes crumbs
salt & pepper

Place chicken pieces between sheets of plastic wrap and pound with meat mallet or rolling pin to about 1/8 inch thickness.

Place cheese on ham. Then roll ham and cheese together and place in center of chicken breast. Tuck ends and wrap chicken around ham. Fasten edges with toothpicks. Add spices to cornflake crumbs. Dip chicken in melted butter and roll in cornflakes crumbs.

Place chicken in greased baking dish. Bake, uncovered at 400 degrees for 40 minutes or until chicken is browned.
