Glazed Lemon Cake


Glazed Lemon Cake
1 bx yellow cake mix
1 bx lemon instant pudding
3/4 c. milk
3/4 c. veg. oil
4 eggs
6 Tbls. real butter, melted
6 Tbls. fresh lemon juice
3 c. powdered sugar
whipped topping homemade

Preheat oven to 350 degree. Spray a 9x13 pan with nonstick cooking spray. Combine dry cake mix, and dry pudding, milk, oil, and eggs.  Beat for 2 minutes.  Pour into cake pan 9x13 and bake according to cake mix box instructions for time for a 9x13 size cake.  When cake is almost finished baking, combine melted butter, lemon juice, and powdered sugar and whisk until smooth  When cake is baked, use a skewer or large fork to poke holes all over hot cake. Pour glaze over cake and let soak into holes. Let cake cool to room temperature, or chill if desired.  Right before serving spread whipping cream over top and serve.
