Calzones Pizza

This recipe can me used for regular pizza crust or to make Calzones. It comes from my friend Julie. I have tried to master the skill of it and still haven't. No one will make these quite like her.

Calzones

1 1/2 c. warm water
1/2 ts. yeast
1 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. garlic salt
4 1/4 c. flour

Mix top 4 ingredients and then let set for a few minutes. Add flour and make into 2 balls. Leave out at room temperature for 1 hour.  Then store over night in refrigerate until ready to use.  Let set out 1 hour before using it.  (If you don't have time to put in fridge over night then you can make it into a pizza after setting out an hour)

Flated each piece of dough out.  Then add desired topping to one side of each piece of dough. Then fold in half and pinch the end closed. Cook at 425 degrees for 15 -20 mins or until brown and done.  We like to bake them on a preheated cooking stone. But not necessary if you don't have one.
These recipe make two calzones or two pizza.
