Tater Tot Casserole

Continue with my sisters weeks. The recipe comes from my sister Shelly. She forgot to take a picture to go with it. Dinner time was crazy and it slipped her mind. I think I have done that a time or too :)


Tater Tot Casserole
1 lb. ground beef
1/2 medium onion, chopped
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 16 oz package of frozen tater tots
1 c. chedder cheese shredded
salt and pepper

Preheat of to 375 degrees. Brown ground beef with onion and season with salt and pepper.
In casserole dish 8x8, combine ground beef mixture and cream soup. Top mixture with tater tots. Bake uncovered for 30 to 40 minutes, till bubbly and tots are golden brown. Remove from oven and top with cheese, return to oven cook until cheese is melted. Serves 4 people.
