Cow in a Blanket

This recipe comes from my sister Sharon. When I was little I would go and stay at her house. And she would fix this meal for me. I still beg her to fix it for me whenever I go to her house. She knows it my one of my favorites.

Cow in a Blanket

1 lb ground beef
1/2 onion chopped
salt & pepper
1 can of crescent rolls

In a skillet brown the ground beef with the onion. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Once it is cooked through. Lay out the crescent rolls individually on a baking sheet. Spoon a little bit of the ground beef mixture in the middle of each crescent roll. Then with your hands grab the ends of the roll and seal it shut over the meat. Do this with each roll. Then cook according to directions on crescent roll container. I think it is at 350 for 12-15 minutes but doubt check to make sure.

Sauce
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 can full of milk
2 tbls. sour cream
sprinkle of Lawry salt

In a small sauce pan put the cream of chicken soup in. Then fill the empty can with milk. Stir together until well combined. Then add sour cream and mix again. Sprinkle with Lawry salt. Bring to a boil. Boil for 1 or 2 minutes. Serve over rice and cow in blankets.
