Meat Loaf & Scalloped Potatoes


Meat Loaf
1 1/2 lb. ground beef
1 egg
1/2 c. oatmeal
1 tsp. ketchup
1/2 tsp mustard
1 tsp. Lawry seasoning
1/2 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp garlic salt
1 onion chopped

Combine the above ingredients all together and put in bread pan and cover and cook. 300 degree for 1 hour or until done.
Scalloped Potatoes
6 potatoes
3 tbls. butter
3 tbls. flour
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 1/2 c. milk
1/4 c. chopped onions
1/2 tsp. salt

Scrub potatoes and slice thin. Place in greased casserole dish. Melt butter in saucepan. Stir in flour with wire whisk. Gradually add milk, stirring constantly until smooth and thickened. Add onions and salt. Pour sauce over potatoes. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Uncover and bake an additional 30 minutes or until potatoes are tender.
