Chicken Tin Foil Dinner

This is a really simple easy meal. The meal is really easy to clean up too. And it taste super delicious! You can also make ahead and take for a camping trip to cook over the camp fire. I have also in the past precooked them and then taken them and heated them up over the fire. That way you can make sure they are done. I got this recipe again from my roommate Katie!!

Chicken Tin Foil Dinner
(Depending on how many dinners you need will depend on the amount you need to make, I will just tell you what is needed and you can decide how much you need. One tin foil full feeds one person.)

Chicken Breast
Potato, chopped
Carrot, chopped
Celery, chopped
Dried onion or you can use regular ones chopped
Can of cream of chicken soup
Lawry seasoning
salt
pepper

You take a sheet of tin foil and spread a little cream of chicken soup on it then lay 1 chicken piece down. Add one potato, carrot, and celery on top of chicken. Then sprinkle with seasoning, salt & pepper. Add some dried onions. Then top with cream of chicken soup. (I usually use one can of cream of chicken for two meals.) Then wrap the meal up in the foil. You can double wrap it if you don't want any soup to link out. Or if your going to cook in oven, you only need to wrap once and put meals on cookie sheet to help catch any linking juice. Cook at 375 for 1 1/2 hours. When serving you can serve right out of the tin foil. Or take out of tin foil and put on a plate then eat. Throw the tin foil away and no mess and no clean up. That simple and easy!!

  1. YUM! I love these! I make mine with hamburger patties a lot, and have seen them made with turkey steaks. Definitely a favorite!
