Manicotti


I got this recipe from a really neat friend, Marisa. She used to live here, but she has since moved away. She was a really good cook. I was always asking for her recipes.

Manicotti

8 oz jumbo shells
8 oz mozzarella cheese
15 oz. cottage cheese
32 oz spaghetti sauce
1/4 c. Parmesan cheese
2 Tbls. Parsley
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper

Cook shells to package directions and drain. Combine all cheeses, parsley and salt & pepper and mix together. Put a little of spaghetti sauce on bottom of 9x13 pan. Spoon cheese mixture into shells and put in bottom of pan. Cover shells with remaining sauce. Add a little mozzarella cheese on top. Cover and cook for 350 degrees for 40 mins. Remove foil and cook 15 mins. more
