Chicken Cordon Bleu Casserole

We have an exchange student living with us from South Korea. And she loved this meal. She got home from school today and she asked what were having for dinner and wanted to know if we could eat this again tonight. I guess it's that good.

Chicken Cordon Bleu Casserole
2 cups of cooked rice
3 cups of cooked chicken cubed
2 cups grated Swiss cheese or mozzarella if you don't have any
6 slices of ham cubed
2 cans of cream of chicken soup
1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. sour cream
10 Ritz cracker or saltine works too
1/2 tsp. paprika
1/4 tsp. garlic salt
1/2 tsp. parsley

Spread rice in 9x13 baking dish sprayed with cooking spray. Arrange chicken over top of rice. Layer cheese on top of chicken followed by layer of ham. Mix soup, milk and sour cream together and spread on top of ham. Crush crackers and add spices. Sprinkle on top of soup mixture. Bake covered 350 degrees for 45 minutes.

  1. Tried it. Loved it!
David's favorite food of all time is Chicken Cordon Bleu. This is delicious and much quicker to make. Thanks for doing this blog. I pretty much find myself checking it every time I menu plan.
