Chicken Cordon Bleu Pasta


Chicken Cordon Bleu Pasta

Alfredo Sauce (see below)
1 sm pkg rigatoni pasta - cooked
2 lbs. chicken breast, cut in pieces and fried in butter
1 c. bacon cooked and cut into pieces
6 oz pkg ham, sliced thin & heated
green onions, finely chopped
Mozzarella & Swiss cheese - grated
sliced mushrooms  (optional)

Place cooked pasta in 9x13 pan. Pour half of sauce over pasta. Put chicken, bacon, ham & mushrooms on top of sauce. Pour remaining sauce over top. Sprinkle with green onion.  Cover with cheese.  Cover and cook at 350 degree for 25 mins.

Alfredo Sauce
1/2 c. butter
1/4 tsp. black pepper
2 c. heavy cream
1/3 c. Parmesan cheese
1/4 tsp. garlic powder

Melt butter in saucepan over med. heat.  Add cream, garlic powder and pepper.  Simmer for 10 to 12 mins or until thick. Add Parmesan cheese.  You can add more or less of any of these ingredients.

*I cut the whole (pasta, sauce, meat and etc.) recipe in half and put in 9x9 pan instead.
