Apple Crisp




Apple Crisp

Topping
1 c. butter, cold cut into small pieces
1 c. flour
1/4 tsp. baking powder
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. oatmeal

In large bowl, mix together the above listed ingredients until the butter is broken up and ingredients are mixed.  Mixture should be crumbly. Set aside.

Filling
6 to 8 apples, peeled & sliced mixed with 1/2 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon

Place apples in 9x13 pan, sprinkle with salt & cinnamon. Then put the topping over the apples.  Bake at 350 degree for 35 to 40 minutes or until golden brown.  Serve with ice cream or whipped cream.
