Cheesy Chicken & Rice


This is a great recipe. Super easy and super good. I have been using it forever. My husband kind of got sick of it because I would always make it. I stop making it and then I kind of forgot about it until the other day. I went to get my recipe out of the box and I couldn't find it, so I had to call my sister that ask me for the recipe and get it from her. Good thing she had it otherwise this good recipe would have been lost forever!!!

Cheesy Chicken and Rice

2 chicken breasts, cubed
1 can of cream of chicken soup
1 1/2 c. water
3/4 c. rice, uncooked
1/2 tsp. onion powder
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 c. cheese

Cut up chicken and set aside. In a round casserole dish add water and soup and mix. Then add onion powder and pepper and stir. Then add chicken, rice, and cheese and mix. Cover and cook at 375 for 45 minutes. Once done top with a little bit of cheese. Then let the cheese melt. Ready to serve.

Side Note: I have double it before just make sure you cook it a lot longer. And I use minute rice but if you only have real rice then you are going to need to cook it for 1 hour and 15 minutes so the rice gets cook.
