It's starting to get cold outside and you know what that mean soup time. This is a great one. It comes from my friend Julie.
Tortellini Soup
1 tbls. olive oil
1 can diced tomatoes (do not drain)
1 can tomato sauce
1 c. sliced carrots
1 c. frozen green beans (I have used canned one's before)
1 can chicken broth
1 can beef broth
1/2 onion chopped
1 tsp garlic salt
1 tsp. Italian seasoning
1 tsp sugar
1/2 tsp pepper
1 package of frozen cheese tortellini
Saute onion in olive oil. Add carrots and cook for a few minutes. Then add tomatoes and broth. Bring to a boil. Add sugar, and seasoning. Then add tortellini. Simmer for 5 minutes or until tortellini is heated up.
