Tetrazzini

So the other night I was going to make this recipe. But it calls for chicken but I decided to put ham instead of it. And it worked great. My husband said he likes it better with Ham.

Tetrazzini

1/4 c. butter
1/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1 c. chicken broth
1 c. whipping cream
1 7 oz package of any pasta
2 c. cut-up cooked chicken or ham
1 4 oz can mushrooms (optional)
1/2 c. Parmesan cheese

Melt butter in a large saucepan over low heat. Blend in flour, salt and pepper. Cook over low heat, stirring until mixture is smooth and bubbly. Remove from heat and stir in broth and cream. Place back on heat until boiling stirring constantly. Once boiling, stir for 1 additional minute. Stir in pasta, chicken or ham, and mushrooms. Remove from heat and pour into ungreased 9x13 casserole dish. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Bake for 30 minutes 350 degrees uncovered.
