Porcupine Meat Balls


This recipe comes from my husband's grandma.

Porcupine Meat Balls

1 1/2 lbs hamburger
1 can of tomato sauce
1 qt. tomato soup (we use our bottled tomato soup, but I am sure it works out good with store bought to)
1/2 c. rice
1 egg
1/2 small onion diced
salt & pepper
dash of ketchup
dash of Worcestershire sauce

In a large bowl mix meat, rice, egg, onions, salt & pepper. Form meat mixture into balls about the size of jack ball. In glass baking bowl put soup and tomato sauce, ketchup, salt & pepper, & Worcestershire sauce. After all mix together put meat balls in the sauce. Cover and cook for 1 hour on 375. Serve tomato sauce over pasta of some kind.
