Ground Beef Stew

This recipe come from my friend Jeanne again. The other night I went to make this soup and I realized I was out of ground beef. So I have to wait for it to go on sale or until I can get down to Costco which is 45 minute away in other town. Anyways, so I made this soup with chicken. It turn out ok, but it is better with ground beef.

Ground Beef Stew
1 lb ground beef cooked
5-8 potatoes peeled and cut in chunks
5-8 carrots peeled and cut in chunks
3 -5 celery stocks cut in chunks
1 c. frozen peas
1 c. frozen corns
1 can of cream of chicken (small can)
3 - 5 bullion cubes (chicken or beef)

Add all ingredients to pot and add water until you can see it. Add pepper to taste. ( I also like to add some garlic powder and parsley). Cook until veggies are tender (about 20 minutes). If you don't have frozen corn I have used canned before I just don't put it in until 5 minutes left.

  1. I love this recipe! I am so glad you like it too!The fun thing about this is you can add or subtact what you like and don't. I looooove onions so I add onions. I loove peas....so for me extra peas.
Another GREAT thing about this recipe is if you want to you can swap out the ground beef for chicken or cubed beef. It work either way...you just want to cook the meat first.
    Happy cooking!
