You will find that most of my recipe have a name of a person with the recipe because that is who I got the recipe from. So this post goes out to Jeanne because this is Jeanne's crock-pot Italian Chicken. It is really creamy and super easy. Who doesn't love a crock-pot recipe? You put it in the crock-pot around noon and then 5 o'clock rolls around, and you say to yourself oh I have to go fix dinner. Oh wait, it's already done and ready to eat all I have to do is cook this little thing to go with it. Don't you just love your crockpot. I sure do, even if it cooks on weird settings like mine. (High is extra high, low is high, and keep warm is low). Let's just say I had to learned the hard way with the high button. We had a very well done meal that night.
Crockpot Italian Chicken
3 or 4 boneless chicken breast (they don't have to be thawed out)
1 big can (family size) of cream of chicken soup
1 8 oz cream cheese soften (I soften it by putting it in the microwave for a few seconds)
1 packet of dry Italian seasoning
Put the chicken in the bottom of the crock-pot. Mix in separate bowl cream cheese and seasoning together then mix in the can of cream of chicken soup. Pour over the chicken. And let it bake for 4 to 5 hours on low depending on how much chicken you have and your crock-pot settings.
Then you can boil some egg noodles (or rice but I prefer it with noodles) and pour the sauce over the egg noodles. And you can even cook a vegetable to go with it and you have a full meal all done and ready to go when that special man of yours walks in the door from work. And he will think you have been slaving away all afternoon cooking this wonderful meal but ssshhhhh, you don't have to tell him that you just threw it in the crock-pot and let the crock-pot do the work.
